How do the small batch releases work?
I create & sell jewelry in monthly small batches. I have the date & time of each release posted on my website & in the bio of my Instagram page. When the time comes, my collection will become available for purchase on my website. Small batches often sell out within a few days. If you are met with an empty or sold out shop, that means I’m working away at creating the next batch of beautiful jewels for you. I have a small core collection of made-to-order jewelry availble on my website as well. I so greatly appreciate you wanting to support my work.
How do I care for my jewelry?
Your jewelry was created to last. To be loved and lived in everyday. As with any meaningful object, you'll want to take care of it so it remains in its best shape. If you like the shine, you may want to gently polish your silver with a microfiber cloth or a polishing cloth. I like Sunshine Polishing Cloths. Use a fine grade steel wool to buff your silver for a more matte look. Be gentle because steel wool also removes patina. Be mindful of your stone because a big drop or hard hit may cause it to crack. Water, perfume, lotion and the like are going to change the integrity of your jewelry over time. Your best bet in minimizing tarnishing and discoloration is to keep your jewelry dry. Your jewelry is shipped wrapped in recycled fabric—keep it and use it again to keep your earrings safe during travel.
How do I find my ring size?
I recommend visiting a local jeweler and asking them to size your finger for the most accurate fit. Another option is to purchase an inexpensive ring sizer on the internet, just make sure you share it with your friends!
Do you offer wholesale?
I do not sell my jewelry wholesale at the moment, but you can always check again by emailing shopplumehandmades@gmail.com.
When will my jewelry arrive?
Jewelry will ship within 2-4 business days from ordering. Your jewelry will be shipped First Class with USPS - or you can choose to upgrade to Priority Mail shipping at checkout. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
If your ring is the wrong fit, I will accept returns in their original condition for store credit only. No two pieces of jewelry are alike so if you're looking to exchange your piece for a different size there may be slight changes or you may need to exchange your ring for a completely different style. I am not able to accept returns on jewelry other than rings.
Do you do custom work?
I'm not currently accepting custom work. But depending on the season, I will accept a handful of custom orders. You're always welcome to email shopplumehandmades@gmail.com to check my custom order status.
