Plume Handmades was inspired by a flowering shrub native to the southwest. The plant and my jewelry have aspects that are both delicate and intricate, yet simultaneously resilient and strong. The plumes of this plant are made of wispy silk-like strands. This plant thrives in the scorching sun—grown to last. My jewelry is slowly and gently handcrafted; strengthened by flame and force. Made of silver and stone. It's a dance between delicate and strong. And it’s damn pretty.
I'm Brigid and I'm the heart and hands behind Plume Handmades. I'm a mama of three and I'm a trail runner. I feel the most like myself when I'm outside. I’ve been living across the country for the past handful of years. From the Colorado Rockies to the Missouri Ozarks. Then the foot of the Huachuca Mountains in southern Arizona, to city life near Boston. And now my family & I are putting down roots in Boise, Idaho. I’m inspired by wide open spaces, the trails I run, & through the simple beauty found in everyday life with my family.
